Lei Rao Receives Best Poster Award at IEEE OGC 2024

Congratulations to Lei Rao on receiving a Best Poster Award at IEEE OGC 2024.
Lei Rao, an undergraduate student in Professor Haodong Tang’s group at the College of Integrated Circuits and Optoelectronic Chips, received a Best Poster Award at the 9th IEEE Optoelectronics Global Conference (IEEE OGC 2024) in Shenzhen, China.
Lei’s poster, “Efficient SWIR PbS QD Photodetector Based on a Hot Spin-Coating Method,” reported a process strategy for high-performance short-wave infrared (SWIR) PbS quantum-dot photodetectors. By controlling solvent evaporation during spin coating through substrate heating, the work aims to improve film uniformity and device performance.
Congratulations to Lei and the project mentors for this recognition at an international optoelectronics conference.
