The Nano Photonics Research Group at Shenzhen Technology University works across colloidal quantum dots, perovskite optoelectronics, short-wave infrared photodetectors, imaging arrays, and chip-compatible integration, connecting materials synthesis, device physics, and system-level validation.

Prospective Students
We welcome students who want to work across colloidal quantum-dot materials, thin-film optoelectronic devices, short-wave infrared photodetectors, imaging systems, and CMOS-compatible integration.

A new Advanced Science paper reports PbS quantum-dot SWIR imaging and non-invasive glucose monitoring.

A review article by Haodong Tang, Shuo Cheng, Wei Chen, Dan Wu, and Kai Wang, titled “High-performance shortwave infrared detection and imaging based on colloidal quantum dots,” has been published online in Chinese Science Bulletin. The article reviews the full CQD-SWIR technology chain from materials and films to device architectures, performance metrics, and imaging-system integration.
